Foram instalados três dispositivos SmartCheck no equipamento para monitorizar o transelevador de paletes numa das duas fábricas da Zentis em Aachen. O conceito de monitorização baseava-se na ativação segura de um alarme em caso de variação ascendente de um valor caraterístico. As saídas de alarme do SmartCheck foram ligadas à unidade SmartConnect Box e transmitidas para o sistema de controlo do cliente.
A unidade SmartConnect Box atua como um distribuidor da alimentação elétrica e dos sinais adicionais. Ao mesmo tempo, reduz consideravelmente o volume de cablagem. Os especialistas da Schaeffler que se deslocaram às instalações acompanharam o cliente em todos os trabalhos de engenharia.
